Bess Wright was absent last week Wednesday.
Asenath Davis was absent Monday because of sickness.
There was no school Friday for the eighth, ninth, tenth and eleventh grades, Mr. Drescher being in attendance at Teachers’ Convention at Chippewa Falls.
The "lower grades" made a raid on the cabinet-kitchen belonging to the absent grades, making their coffee and having a good time in general.
The library had an overhauling some time ago and the old books were discarded, being distributed among the pupils in a sort of grab-bag way, each pupil trying to grab the largest book in the box.
