Moth, Emma (1? NOV 1905)
The Chas. Moth’s home in the town of Lynn on Wednesday was the scene of great festivities. At 2 o’clock that afternoon, Emma, their daughter and only child, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr. Albert Gotter. The knot was tied by Rev. P.H. Hass at the German Lutheran Church in the presence of a goodly number of invited guests. The bridal couple was attended by the Misses Lizzette Gotter, Emma Porath and Martha Nitschke as the bridesmaids, and Mr. John Breseman, Eddie Wischulke and Ferdinand Gotter as groomsmen. The bride was beautifully attired in blue, while the bridesmaids all wore white, the groom and his attendants wearing the regulation black. After the ceremony the newly wedded pair and all who were in attendance at the wedding ceremony repaired to the Chas. Moth’s home where a delightful wedding supper was spread, after which dancing afforded the evening’s entertainment; a large barn serving as a dance hall. These young people just launched on life’s matrimonial sea are well and favorable known to many of our readers. Both are very estimable young people of highly respected parentage, well fitted to adorn a home of their own. The News joins with their hosts of friends in wishing them a prosperous and happy voyage.
