Foemmel’s Corners (16 September 1910)

 

Mrs. Truman Davis called on Mrs. Hayden and Mrs. Gardner last week Wednesday.

 

Miss Balke from Heathville is working at the Frant Osgood home since last week Friday.

 

Mrs. Wilcox is spending several days this week with Mrs. John Pietenpol.

 

Frank Krejci Sr., and nephew Frank Krejci and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Huntley are among those who are taking in the state fair.

 

Dan Cattanah, wife and baby visited at Harry Cattanah’s Sunday. 

 

Emil Krause is helping Truman Davis cut corn and Will Vandeberg is helping Al Nonhof.

Adolph Foemmel and wife called on relatives here Sunday.

 

Ely Heck entertained threshers last week Friday.  He was a little bit late in threshing, but he threshed the first and second crop together.

 

Winn and Dubes are filling silos around here.

 

Allie Root is attending school at Granton.

 

Geo. Amidon was seen on our streets Tuesday with his new Buick auto.

 

Miss Lillie Ackerman left Monday for Appleton where she has a position in a dressmaking establishment.

 

Mr. Kemmeter together with Mr. and Mrs. Frei autoed out to Lynn and spent Sunday at the Speiser home.
