South Grant (16 September 1910)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Van Zile of Crandon who spent a week at the Geo. Howard’s home left for home Tuesday.

 

Carl and Wm. Schuelke went to Milwaukee Monday to attend the state fair.

 

Geo. Ure has started to move the house Ed Prange purchased of Paul Handt.

 

Emil Hubing and Dick Wedekind were seen out hunting Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Garbush of York visited at Wm. Schlinsog’s Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gerzemehle left for Milwaukee Tuesday morning for a five days visit.

 

Mrs. Ernest Junchen and Emma Pagenkopf called on Mrs. Chas. Braatz one day last week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schlinsog visited at Handt’s Sunday.

 

Albert Schlinsog and best girl drove out and spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lichte at Lynn.

 

Bill Roehl quit work at Paul Garbush’s Saturday.

 

Mrs. August Gotter spent Monday with her daughter Mrs. Hy Schlinsog.

 

Little Anita Lautenbach who has been very ill the past week is on the gain.

 

Lilly and Anna Handt called on Laura Gerzemehle one evening the fore part of the week.

 

Herman and Emil Riedel wed business callers at Neillsville Saturday.

 

Minnie Dietrich spent Sunday afternoon with Margaret Lautenbach.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Boomer enjoyed a visit from a Chicago relative.

 

Coon hunters are rather plentiful out in this country.

 

The Misses Margret and Amelia Hillert entertained several young folks last Friday evening.

 

Frank Hubing from Athens was out this way buying horses Tuesday.

 

Listen for the wedding bell after the state fair.
