Foemmel’s Corners (30 September 1910)
Miss Mary Krejci is helping Mrs. John Pietenpol this week.
Mr. and Mrs. John Breese were Sunday guests at Truman Davis.
Mrs. Lapham and daughter returned to Granton after spending three weeks with Mrs. John Pietenpol.
Frank Krejci returned Saturday from a several days visit at Milwaukee, West Bend and various other places.
Rollie Beecher is carrying mail for the past few days.
Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Davis and daughter called at Truman Davis’ Sunday.
Will Foemmel is residing his house. The old siding was warped and made the house rather cold.
Mr. Hefty is digging a cellar and making preparations to build an addition to his house.
Joe Frei is helping Truman Davis finish cutting his corn.
John Pietenpol entertained the silo fillers this week.
Chas Campbell, a brother George and two of his children, Mr. and Mrs. Geo Root and Mrs. Heck did shopping Neillsville this week.
Lucile Davis was quite sick several days this week.
Emil Krause killed two veal calves which he shipped to Chicago Tuesday.
We would like to hear from every correspondent next month and from any new ones that wish to write.
Myron Osgood hauled wood by here several days last week which he bought of Homer King.
