Stickert, Henry (court proceeding - 1914)
Even thought living in Chili, some of the folks over there get pretty warm under the collars sometimes, even going to law about it. Some time ago Harry Eide killed a dog belonging to Henry Stickert with his auto. Stickert brought an action before Justice Campman for the judge held there was no cause for the action. The talk attendant on this trouble brought out a suit against Stickert for calling one of his neighbors ungentlemanly names and the case was tried by a jury Monday before Justice Devos and Stickert was fined $20 and costs. It is understood that this case will be appealed.
