McPherson, Frank (26 May 1846 - 26 Jun 1914)
Frank McPherson died last Friday at his home n the town of Washburn the result of a stroke of paralysis. Deceased was born in Waupaca County and at the time of his death was 68 years and 1 month of age. He came to Clark County in 1871 and a few years after was united in marriage to Miss Mary Sedgewick. Four children were born to them, who with their mother, survive their father. The children are Mrs. Tom Hazlett, Mrs. George Strubing, Mrs. James Cox, and Milton McPherson. Deceased was a carpenter by trade and combined his work with farming. He was a man of excellent characteristics and during the years of his long residence in Clark County came to know all the early pioneers and assist them in their work of the development of the county. He was well known and highly esteemed by all who knew him. The funeral was Monday at the house and interment was made in the Grant Cemetery.
