Globe (16 July 1914)

 

Mr. Bast was the guest in Neillsville over Sunday.

 

John, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Kaslow, was very sick last week.  Dr. Monk was called, but is better at this writing.

 

August Schoeffner of Neillsville is doing some plastering for G. Mallig.

 

Miss Hedwig Kleuckman was on the sick list last week.

 

Leo Grap and Theo Gall are doing carpenter work for Wm. Scheel.

 

Lillian Galloway spent Sunday with Elsie and Clara Hemp.

 

Geo. Manthey worked for Bill Kaslow last week.

 

Mrs. L. Quast and Albert Steinberg were in Marshfield one day last week to see their mother in the hospital.

 

Wm. Mitte had his barn basement cemented last week.  Emil Manthey did the work.

 

Olga Kuhl is able to attend school again after being sick with appendicitis for some time.

 

Mrs. Martha Davis of Madison came last week to spend some time with her sister, Mrs. L. Schultz.
