Pleasant Ridge (23 July 1914)
Mrs. Lizzie Hill of Bradgate, Ia., came last Thursday to spend some time with her brother, H.O. Huckstead, and family.
Mrs. Montie Wren spent Saturday and Sunday with Mrs. Oscar Thompson of Lynn.
The young lady from Minneapolis who spent last week with Isabelle Slocomb returned home Friday.
Sadie Blackman spent Saturday night and Sunday in Columbia.
Mrs. H. Counsell spent part of this week at her son, Joe’s.
Mrs. Sereno Wren is at the Dells Dam farm this week and Gracie Locks is on the home farm.
Mrs. Wm. Westphal of Tioga spent the weekend at Richard Selves’.
Sereno Wren’s blacksmith shop burned to the ground Sunday. Quite a loss to Mr. Wren.
Several from here attended the Wm. Heaslett farm at Neillsville Sunday afternoon.
Charlie Heaslett spent last week at O.E. Counsell’s.
Mrs. Hutchinson and daughter spent 2 or 3 days of last week with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Vine.
