The pupils are very busy practicing for their program which will be Friday afternoon.
The eighth grade arithmetic class was given a test last Thursday.
Supt. Rhea recently sent the school $1 price money, won by a few of our pupils by drawings sent to the Neillsville fair. A vote was taken as how to expend the money so the whole school might share in it. The vote of the school was to purchase magazines, but the sum being rather too small for that, a subscription paper was circulated among the students and the sum of $4.50 was raised. Lynn Knorr, Beulah Hornbeck and Vera Beeckler were appointed to make the selection of the magazines most suited to the school. The Cosmopolitan, Success, and Review of Reviews were selected.
