Christmas day put us in receipt of a ltter from a former Neillsville friend, one Olaf W. Olson, now of Altamont, Wyo., citing a recent experience of his while rounding up a bunch of ranch horses, being thrown from his horse and meeting frozen mother earth among the sage brush, alighting upon his head and left shoulder, cutting his face and receiving some severe bruises, causing him no little discomfort. He experienced the novelty of having sage brush dug out of his cheek. Fortunately his feet were not caught in the stirrups and he jokingly recounts what narrowly escaped being a most serious accident. At this writing Mr. Olson was pleasantly anticipating being in Salt Lake City within the next ten days and attending Ben Hur. Remaining in the City over Sunday he would take the opportunity to hear the famous Mormon choir and organ.
