Foemmel’s Corners (21 October 1910)
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cattanah have rented and moved onto the Albert Davis farm.
Fred Frank moved his family unto the old farm formerly owned by John Breese and now is making cheese for Tucker until another man can be found.
Mrs. Chas Hayden is very ill and confined to her bed since last week Wednesday, but at present is some better.
The Mesdames John Breese, Chas. Cross, Sam Martin and Truman Davis have taken turns in caring for Mrs. Hayden.
Mr. and Mrs. Vint Lee spent Sunday at Truman Davis’.
John Pietenpol and family Sundayed at Al Nonhof’s
Effie Davis and daughter took Shanks’ horses and went across thru the woods to spend the day with Mrs. John Pietenpol.
Wm. Foemmel, Al Nonhof, Ely Heck and Emil Krause assisted Truman Davis in hauling his hay from Shortville.
Mrs. Krejci went to Chicago a week ago to assist in caring for her sister who is ill.
Wm. Vandeberg is husking corn for John Pietenpol.
Will Lowery and Lester Schafer are husking corn for Truman Davis.
