Foemmel’s Corners (28 October 1910)
Elvin Root was somewhat under the weather last week.
Mrs. Hayden is able to sit up again after a week’s illness.
An 8 pound boy came to live with Mr. and Mrs. Wm Foemmel, Oct. 21. This makes two pair.
Fred Frank boards at Ed Ackerman’s.
Hale Davis bought a load of wood of his brother Truman and came after it Tuesday.
Mr. Ayers bought some pigs of Frank Krejci.
Mrs. Jake Schafer and brother spent Sunday at Truman Davis’.
Mrs. Fred Frank called on her husband here Monday.
Mr. Louis Hayden came up from Jackson County the first of the week to see his mother.
The Mesdames Effie Davis and Tillie Schafer called on the G. Krause and H. Cattanah families Sunday.
Joe Lastofka entertained the clover hullers this week.
Homer King, son George and Mr. Hogenson are cutting wood on the former’s place.
Miss Ratsch is staying with her sister Mrs. Wm. Foemmel and helping care for the new boy.
Mrs. Chas Cross returned to her home near Chili after spending several days here with her mother Mrs. Hayden.
Emil Krause expects to begin work Friday for Nate Dubes on his new barn.
Al Nonhof delivered wood to parties in Granton Wednesday.
