Rose, Nellie (Marriage - 8 November 1910)
Geo. Campbell, a prosperous and well known widower of the Town of York and Miss Nellie Rose of Plymouth were married at 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Neillsville Methodist parsonage, Rev. Burrows officiating.
The bride a sister of our townsman Geo. J. Rose and of W. D. Rose of York, and who in her frequent visits here has made many warm friends who will rejoice to learn that she is to take up her permanent residence in York where the groom owns and operates a fine farm.
The happy wedded pair passed through here on Wednesday morning’s train enroute to Plymouth where they will spend their honeymoon. At the depot here they encountered a heavy rice storm precipitated upon them by a delegation of their Granton friends who entered one end of the car and made a hurried exit at the other. They expect to be absent about two weeks. The NEWS joins in best wishes for a long and happy married life.
