Mrs. L.D. Ruddock and daughter Maude left Monday for the southern part of the state on a visit to the former’s brother who resides there.

Leo Schoenhofen, Art Finney, Ed Raferty, Mrs. Geo. Hass and the Misses Cora Vaughn, Margie Casey, Lena Mailand and Irmine Burns were some of the Marshfield people whom we had the pleasure of meeting at the military ball Monday night.

Joseph Dillman returned home after spending Christmas at his daughter’s in Oshkosh.

Will Tollefson of Minnesota was a New Year’s guest at the home of Cornelia Glass.

L.W. Wood, in the discharge of his duties as rural school inspector, set out Monday morning in the direction of Stevens Point.

Fred Bullard left Saturday night for some point in Michigan where he has charge of a street car power house.

Lee Huntley was home for the holidays.

Albert Reineking of Wausau was here visiting friends and relatives.

Waldo Bernau returned after spending Xmas at home in Fond du Lac.

Harrison Gates of Milwaukee is here visiting his aunt, Mrs. R.J. McBride.

Lulu Hommel spent the holidays at home and enjoyed the military ball Monday night.

Otis Beardsley is home from Minneapolis for a short visit.

Lona Wolff entertained a few of her friends Friday eve.  Dainty refreshments were served and a good time is reported by all.

Mrs. Paul Krause (formerly Mollie Tragsdorf) spent New Years at home.

Mr. Ira and Jesse Hake of Lancaster are visiting at Grant Hake’s.

Mr. and Mrs. John Wildish returned Monday evening from their visit with their daughter Grace and husband at Stratford.

Mrs. C.C. Sniteman returned Saturday evening from a week’s visit with friends at Fond du Lac.

Mrs. De Lourville of Amherst, Wis. (born Ethel Kemery of this place) gave birth to a son some two weeks since.  Her mother Mrs. Kemery is with her and her little grandsons.

Mr. and Mrs. H.V. Kemery of Marshfield were over Monday night and in attendance at the military ball.

Geo. Huntzicker, well known as "Honey", a traveling salesman for the Marshfield Bedding Co., was over for the big ball Monday night.

Bill Stockwell, who is on the Omaha Railway Co.’s payroll with headquarters at Marshfield, came over Monday and partook of New Year’s dinner under the parental roof.
