Colleen Rae Anderson, 61, Withee, died on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., on Aug. 25, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee. Rev. Thomas Myhre will officiate. A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery, town of Hixon.

 

Colleen Anderson was born on Feb. 21, 1950, in Marshfield, to L. G. and Leila Anderson, Loyal. She grew up and attended Loyal Public School. She married Terry E. Heck on Dec. 10, 1966. They later divorced. In 1985, she married Emil Looker. He died on Feb 13, 1988. She then married Ron Anderson, and he died in 2009. She worked at the Clark County Health Center for many years and when her second husband became ill and passed away, she carried on with the video rental business and small grocery known as Colleen’s Videos and Trading Post. Ron and Colleen ran this business until June 2009. She then worked at Food Pride and More Movies in Colby and then Kramer’s Country Market until she became ill and was forced to quit in 2004. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, working in her flowers outside, and she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren,

 

Survivors include her children, Jim (Sue) Heck, Greenwood, Terry (Anne) Heck, Elkhorn, Mike (Sue) Heck, Abbotsford, and Lorie (Renee) Filla, Neillsville; a step daughter, Debbie Peterson, Unity; 13 grandchildren’ two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Wendy (Larry) Markow, Janesville, Christine Huskelhus, Browntown, Letha AAnderson, Loyal, and Amy (Thomas) Mouldon, Kyle, Texas; her in-laws, Harvey and Velda Anderson, Withee, Janice and Allen Arndt, Withee, and Bill and April Anderson, Withee; many cousins; and a very close friend, Diana Witte, Owen.

 

Preceding her in death were her parents, L. G. and Leila Anderson; a granddaughter, Tapanga Sue Heck; and one sister, Lola Lincoln.
