The first annual report of the Lynn Mutual Tornado, Cyclone or Hurricane Insurance Co. has been made by the secretary Geo. A. Ure. It shows the Company being in a very flourishing condition. Incorporated less than a year ago, the date being March 2, 1905, and at the close of the year, 10 months later, there were 180 policies, amounting to $214, 701.50 in force. This sort of insurance means a great deal to the farmer and it is the wise man who seeks protection under an insurance policy covering loss by tornado, cyclone or hurricane. The cost is very small to be insured thus and affords much pleasant reflection during at least 6 months of the year, when every daily paper we pick up cites numerous cases of loss through storms of this nature.
The annual report of the Lynn Mutual Fire Ins. Co. has been made by Henry Sternitzky, secretary, and shows at the end of the year 1905, 3185 policies in force amounting to $4,117,754.15. The total income during the year was $21,637.72, the disbursements $16, 931.67. At the annual meetings of these companies held at the courthouse at Neillsville last week, the officers who served them last year were re-elected.
