Chili (2 December 1910)

Frank Lowe was around, the country buying sheep, hogs and cattle.

Miss Lillian Yorkston is going to open up a dressmaker shop in McNaul’s house next week Monday.  That will be very convenient for many ladies that have not time to do their own sewing.

The largest part of the hunters this year brought home their allotment, with a few exceptions.

See Degener about your heaters and ranges, he has a large assortment at right prices.

The Royal Neighbors held their quilt raffle and sale of small articles Saturday night. A good time was had. The members of the order entertained with reading and singing.  The Chili Star Band gave instrumental music and were very much appreciated by all present.

Mrs. O. F. Walter came to visit with Mr. and Mrs. A. Degener for some time.

Chili is again without a doctor; Dr. Schwarz having moved back to Granton early this week.  Dan Cattanach has rented the building formerly occupied by the doctor.

Gustave Kaddatz after spending the summer in Dakota returned home last week.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Fenske and daughter Annie left last week for an extended visit with relatives in Minnesota.

H. J. Finney cut feed for H. Owen and C. Fenske Saturday and Monday.
