Kissinger, Alma (21 NOV 1875)
Mrs. Philip Kissinger, 81, died at her home just south of Loyal Monday evening at 8:30 o’clock. Death followed a short illness.
Mrs. Kissinger, the former Alma Davis, was born in the town of York, November 21, 1875. Most of her life has been lived in this area. Sixty two years ago she was married to Philip Kissinger in the town of Sherman. They lived on a farm in Sherman for 29 years. They have resided on their present farm for the past ten years.
She was an active member of the Royal Neighbors of America and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Ed (Geneva) Tice, Rockford, Illinois, Mrs. Emily Genett, Marshfield and Mrs. Jack (Alberta) ?eresenski, Onieda and one sister, Mrs. Martha Castner, Loyal; 22 grandchildren, and 8 ? great-grandchildren.
Three sons, Roland who died in World War 1, Lawrence and Harold who preceded her in death as did a brother and ? sisters
Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) at 2 p.m. at the Myre Funeral Home and burial will be in the Loyal cemetery with Rev. Ethel Nut? Pastor of the Greenwood Methodist Church will officiate. (? Marks due to a Christmas message printed over the obit)

Pallbearers for the funeral of Mrs. Philip Kissinger last Thursday were Franklin Rueth, Frank Schwanke, Dan Woltrers, Martin Verkilen, Albert Wehling and John Castner.
The hymns "Beyond the Sunset" and "Abide With Me" were sung by Nelda Foelske. Mrs. Byron Zepplin was organist.
