Smithers, Lois (1824? - 12 JAN 1906)
Mrs. Lois A. Smithers died at her home last Friday noon. A stroke of paralysis seemingly caused her death. About 2 years ago she fell and sustained a fracture of her right leg,a nd had not been able to walk since. She was 81 years old and is survived by six daughters and 28 grandchildren. Her husband preceded her about 6 months ago. The funeral was held last Monday in the M.E. Church, Rev. Bryan officiating, and interment taking place in the cemetery here.
