Geo. Hart Sundayed with his daughters in Marshfield.
Pete Paulson of Marshfield was here on business, Monday.
Mrs. Ketel spent Monday at Neillsville.

Mildred Kintzele has been painfully suffering with an abscess in her ear, since last week.
Grandpa Dennis has been quite ill with kidney trouble for the past two weeks.
Wm. Allbaugh left Monday morning for Thurston, Nebraska, where he will spend the winter.
Ernest McIntire of Neillsville has accepted a clerkship in H. C. Witte’s store since Monday.

Mrs. Geo. Hart went to Humbird Saturday evening and made an over Sunday visit among relatives.
Dave Garbush is stepping very careful these days owing to a boil on his right knee.
Herman Wegner was under the doctor’s care part of last week, suffering with rheumatism.
The Misses Gertrude and Inez Holmes were Neillsville shoppers Monday.

Eddie Dennis after a several months sojourn with relatives at Tracy, Minn., arrived home late last week.
Mrs. John Kintzele took quite sick again last week. She has never fully recovered from typhoid fever.
Fred W. Davis after arising from the dinner table at his son Scott’s home last Saturday fell to the floor, unconscious. He revived again in a few minutes, feeling none the worse.

Mrs. Wells of Cazenovia after a six days visit here with her daughter Mrs. Wm. Hart returned home on Monday.
Mrs. Amelia Wagner went to Mendota Mon. to visit her sister Mrs. Augusta Riedel who is ill in the hospital there.

Mrs. J. A. Martin and little daughter spent last Friday and Saturday at the John Hiles home, the late Homer Davis place.
Grandpa George Williams suffered another stork of paralysis Sunday morning. Dr. Ross who was called pronounced his condition as not critical.
H. F. Schlinsog’s 40th birthday was duly observed last Saturday when every one fortunate enough to be invited had a good time.
Traugut Beer came over from Marshfield Monday to spend some time here with his daughter Mrs. H. F. Schlinsog.
Mrs. Fred Grassman will entertain the Ladies Aid of Rev. Reiff’s parish at dinner next Wednesday.
Mrs. James Finnegan entertained a baker’s dozen of Royal Neighbor ladies at a quilting and chicken pie dinner last Saturday.
The Dale Lee baby was reported as very ill with pneumonia at the Ara Lee home early this week, though some better at this writing.
Mrs. Bertha Tragsdorf and daughter Edna Sundayed at the Clemens Kuechenmeister home.
The Mesdames Weinberger and Jacques of Neillsville drove out and spent Tuesday with Mrs. Clemens Kuechenmeister.
Jake Lenkel who has been visiting his daughter Mrs. Mary Fischer returned to his home at Brillion.
Lew Marsh spent Monday with his brother Joe at Marshfield. The latter in company with Mr. McMillan left Tues. morning for Louisiana where the two gentlemen own a large farm which needs their personal attention.

Ed Prange is enjoying a visit from his brother who arrived here from Sheboygan last Monday and will remain about two weeks.
John Trimberger met with a very painful accident Monday noon. While walking from the house to the barn he slipped and fell, striking in such a way as to break both bones in his right leg just above the ankle. Dr. Ross was called to attend to the injured member and he pronounced it a very bad fracture.
A number of farmers were busy this week hauling home beet pulp which is returned from the sugar refinery free to the farmers on request. It makes excellent feed and some even say that it takes the place of bran while Cash Ide claims that most anything till take the place of the latter.
Mrs. Anna Scholtz and granddaughter Miss Ida Riedel, both of Milwaukee arrived here Tuesday evening on an extended visit at Richard Kurth’s. Mrs. Scholtz is Mrs. Kurth’s mother and it is possible that she will make her home here with Mrs. Kurth.
Last week Thursday master Ernest Kuechenmeister recognized his 13th birthday anniversary when the early evening hours were rendered sweetly musical about the Clemens Kuechenmeister home by the Drescher band which serenaded him. The band was attended by some 25 boys and girls who came to join in the evening sports which were finished off about midnight by an excellent lunch. The good byes not being said until the wee small hours commenced upon the next day.
