At the Republican caucus in this town, last Saturday, G. J. Walbridge and A. Steinwand were chosen delegates.
Mr. Walbridge was chosen with little opposition but quite a strife ensued between Mr. Steinwand, F. J. Salter and J. D. Wicker, in which several ballots were taken, standing Steinwand and Salter with 15 each, with Wicker at 10.
Mr. Wicker withdrew from the contest when Mr. Steinwand was elected by two majority.
The delegates favor T. J. LaFlesh for Member of Assembly and will vote for Ring delegates to the Senatorial convention.
