Blazel, Bruce A. (August 30, 1976 - August 14, 2011)
Bruce A. Blazel, 34, of Dorchester, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 19, 2011, at
Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Father Timothy
Oudenhoven officiated. Burial was in the Dorchester Memorial
Cemetery. Visitation was at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in
Abbotsford on Thursday, August 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Friday
from 9:30 a.m. until time of services. Pallbearers were Eric
Blazel, Brian Ingersoll, Mike Hinke, Jason Gregory, Mark Telschow,
Dave Saltow, Josh Brugge and Brian Kohl.
Bruce was born August 30, 1976 to Alvin and Donna (Brunner) Blazel
in Dorchester.
He attended Dorchester Elementary School and Colby High School. He owned and operated Bruce’s Auto in the Town of Holton. He had a love for classic muscle cars, guns, hunting, fishing, camping, boating and his dog, Fynix. Bruce enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family and friends. He was always on the lookout for the next best deal, and enjoyed going to car auctions. Bruce thrived on repairing things without a book. He will be sadly and deeply missed by many friends and family.
Bruce is lovingly survived by his father, Alvin Blazel of
Dorchester; and brother, Eric Blazel of Dorchester.
Bruce is preceded in death by his mother, Donna Jean Blazel and
grandparents.
The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home is assisted the family with
arrangements.
