united in marriage on July 23, 1949, at St. Mary’s Parsonage

Jerome loved his family and friends and cherished the time spent
with them. He enjoyed playing any type of cards, doing his daily
crossword puzzle, and was an avid Packers and Brewers fan. He was
very community oriented over the years serving as a local
councilman, a volunteer fireman, and helping out at local events
such as Cheese Days and the Edgar Steam Engine Show.
Jerome was an honorary member of the Colby VFW and was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Parish in Colby. Over the years, Jerome worked as a cheesemaker, volunteer driver for Clark County, beverage hauler, and most notably was seen in the halls of the Colby School District as a custodian until his retirement. He had a great love for children and was a regular spectator at the local Colby Hornet events throughout the years up until his decline in health.
Jerome is lovingly survived by his wife of 62 years, Elaine; his
children, Randy (Linda) Schultz of Sturgeon Bay, Sally (Jerome)
Heindl of Colby, Kathy (Arlyn) Telford of Colby, Steve Schultz of
Colby, and Amy (Mark) Underwood of Dorchester; nine grandchildren,

Tate Meyer, Myla Telford; his sisters, Ruth Mulkins of Oak Creek,
and Marcia (Red) Sossaman of Wind Lake. Jerome is further survived
by many of Schultz and Haas family decedents coming from families
of 8 and 11 respectively with his wife.

Schultz; his brothers, John, Walter, and Donald Schultz; his
sisters, Marquerite and Dorothy; and his in-laws, William Sr. and
