Mr. E. Owens met with bad luck Monday. While climbing a ladder to get some hay for his horses, the ladder broke and while falling he hurt his lip and nose, and Dr. Berry had ben be called to attend his injuries.
Two cars of oats were shipped from this station.
Mr. A. Degner received a car of flour and feed Tuesday.
Mrs. Culver, who has been quite sick for quite a while, died last Saturday and was brought to her last resting place in the Nasonville Cemetery Tuesday noon.
The free wedding dance given by Anton Schuster and Dan Cattenach Saturday night was quite a success. May friends of both parties enjoyed a good time. Mesdames Braun and Downer served oyster supper at Fraser’s Hall that night.
The midwinter summer froze up again, so we can put away our straw hats for a while.
Miss Theresa Winkler, who has been working for Geo. Young, is helping Mrs. A. Degner for a while.
Geo. Young made a business trip to St. Paul this week.
Robert Fadner, a man of some 50 years, drove in and had his team shod here Wednesday morning and left for home shortly after, apparently quite as well as ever. Reaching home he began unhitching the team and was seen to fall, and upon investigation it was found his soul had left his body and the body unsupported, had fallen to earth. This comes as a great shock to the entire community.
