Heathville (23 December 1910)
John Duffy is somewhat on the gain.
Herman Portz cut feed and wood for Gordon Davis last week.
August F. Dankemyer is on the jury at Neillsville.
The Schmidtke boys returned from Dakota last week.
Dick Balke had the misfortune of running a needle in his wrist to such an extent that he was obliged to consult a doctor.
W. W. Smith’s little daughter had an attack of pneumonia last week. She is doing nicely at present under the care of Dr. Ross.
All the old hens around Chili are missing Ike Rogers.
Delbert Latamore sold his 30 acre farm to Joe Berd. Consideration $1,400.00
Say, says if I had 35c more I’d buy Chili. He turned around and says (Jake Henning) yes! And if I was as full of dope as you are I’d sell it to you. Good for you Jake, where did you get that evening dress suit? Jake refused to answer, and told us to go to Helleua.
If we are informed right Wellie Davis has got the automobile fever. He occasionally calls on John Kintzele and for what reason we don’t know, bur very likely takes Otto lessons. As Wellie is a good kid and of good nature enjoys a joke occasionally even at his own expense. A little runabout next summer will put your mind at rest.
