East York & West Fremont (23 December 1910)

 

Ernest Lee went to Madison on business Tuesday.

 

E. Yankee had the misfortune to seriously scald his face with hot coffee one day last week.  Some 15 of his neighbors gathered and cut up a wood pile for him Monday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Price Lee called on Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lee Sunday.

 

Clay Converse was an over Sunday visitor at Neillsville.

 

Mrs. Free Converse was very sick with tonsillitis, but is some better at this writing.

 

Mrs. Neil Downer is very ill at this writing.  Mrs. Gusta Breed is caring for her.

 

Oscar Jahr and father were sick Saturday, caused from gas escaping from Neil Downer’s engine while cutting corn in the barn.

 

Adelbert Gardner had the plaster cast removed from his arm, but still carries the same in a sling.

 

The Misses Mouseinlaw and Lawrence closed a series of meetings in district school house No. 5 last Sun. eve.

 

The Mesdames Ara and Ernest Lee drove to Chili Wednesday p.m. and attended R. N. of A. Lodge.
