Kurth (30 December 1910)
The pupils of District No. 4 rendered a Christmas program Friday afternoon which was much enjoyed by all present. School closed that day for a two months vacation.
Mrs. M. V. Ayers called at F. D. Riedel’s Friday.
Ida Gluch came from Altoona Saturday to spend Christmas week at home.
Wm. Kelpin bought a new organ last week, a Christmas present for his son Paul.
George Wilding and family spent Christmas Day at Richard Kurth’s in the Town of Lynn.
Mrs. L. L. Ayers is spending the week with her daughter, Mrs. Beaulieu at Osseo.
Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Riedel drove out to Granton Monday and visited at John Trimberger’s.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Ayers attended the dance at Granton Monday night.
Mrs. George Wilding and children were Neillsville visitors Monday.
Henry Pischer is busy hauling stave bolts to Granton this week.
Mr. and Mrs. John Krause’s youngest child is very ill with pneumonia. Dr. Matheson of Neillsville is in attendance.
Fred Kier was out with his feed-cutter this week cutting cornstalks for Herman Krause Tuesday and for E. Ayers Wednesday.
