Miss Alda Caldwell entertained 12 young lady friends Tuesday eve at a novel party. The ladies all appeared in old fashioned costume with masks on. What was done no one knows, excepting that the girls report a very good time. About 11:30 a very delightful Dutch supper was served which was greatly enjoyed by the old fashioned bedecked assemblage.
Miss Martena Marsh of Marshfield was here Friday night to attend the mask ball.
Larry Cysewski and Miss Flossie Garvin of Loyal attended the Lula Tyler Gates Co. concert Monday eve.
Mrs. M. Kapellen entertained a few ladies at tea Thursday afternoon.
Mrs. Frank Dwyer entertained the Schafskopf Club Tuesday afternoon.
The Misses Elgia Swetland and Ada Schofield entertained a few friends at cards last Tuesday evening.
The Ladies Guild will give a Valentine party at the armory on February 14. Invitations have been issued and it promises to be the event of the season.
Chas. Kayhart and wife spent Monday evening with Fred Draper and wife. While here they attended the Tyler Gates Concert.
Geo. Sontag and wife enjoyed a few days last week with his brother Jule and wife at Minneapolis.
Judge Johnson of B.R. Falls held County Court here last Tuesday morning as Judge Schoengarth was one of the attorneys in a contested case.
The Neillsville library is now situated in more comfortable quarters, having been moved into the new high school building, and with Miss Mayme Woodward as librarian our library presents a most attractive and inviting appearance.
Grandpa and grandma (Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Pitcher have been quite ill for a few weeks past, though both are reported as better now.
