Foemmel’s Corners (13 January 1911)
Nora Ackerman spent last week at Mr. Speiser’s and New Years at Mr. John Henning’s near Chili.
Mr. and Mrs. Rob Swann spent several days here visiting the Al Nonhof and W. J. Davis families.
Truman Davis and Geo. Glover drove over to Harris Spurr after Cranberries Tuesday afternoon.
A surprise party was given to the Hales boys last Saturday evening at which seventeen couples met and after playing many games and partaking of a dainty lunch they bethought themselves of home sweet home and found mother nature had a surprise for them and they had to go home in the snow.
Miss Elsie Krause on returning from Granton one day last week lost a parcel containing 1½ yards black sateen, a pair of side combs, some thread and lace net. Any one finding said parcel will do her a favor to notify her of its whereabouts.
Mrs. Geo. Frei is spending the week at Mrs. Speiser’s near Lynn.
Elsie Krause had dental work done at Neillsville Wednesday.
