Chili (13 January 1911)
Chas. Cross and wife mourn the loss of their baby, 4 weeks old, which died suddenly after a short sickness Tuesday evening at 9 o’clock. The parents have our sympathy in their sad bereavement.
H. H. Eberhardt from Neillsville was here on business Saturday afternoon. He had sold Fred Selk a piano and was looking for more sales.
Wednesday afternoon Miss Anna Fenske was married to H. Montag at the home of the formers parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Fenske.
A club was started Tuesday night between the married people of Chili and neighbors to meet once a week and pass away the evening in innocent amusements. Officers were elected as follows: E. R. Behringer, President; A. W. Wendorf, Secretary; Herman Koser, Treasurer.
Mr. O. F. Walter visited Tuesday and Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. A. Degener.
