Geo. Young and Dave Baker went west on the fright Monday morning.

Mrs. Geo. Young is improving slowly after undergoing her late operation.

Miss Mabel Fraser is clerking at Fraser & Young’s store.

The "temperance saloon" was extremely busy last Sunday.  Mr. Kelpin is doing pretty good with his handsome dispenser of refreshments.

Quite a young blizzard in town Wednesday which blew quite a few windows out and did other light damage.

There was quite an exciting time in Chili last Sunday.  Those who were witnesses were disappointed in not seeing a regular McGovern and Nelson set to.

Our venerable constable is bewailing the fact that the town board has no place for the care of vagrants.  The responsibilities of his office at time are extremely arduous.

From all account Mr. A. Bulgrin will be in possession of the butter factory now owned by H. Koser.

John Young is again relieved from work, having sprained his wrist at the mill.  Don Brown is taking his place.
