This year it seems the gentler sex has a
previlege or can take the previlege to pop the question.
There might be some hope now for a few of the bashful and retiring
men of all ages. There are a few around here that may be
taken up during this year.
Hay is being shipped out of here
steadily this season. This is rather encouraging, only the
farmers should not sell too close, in case a long lasting winter
would consume the stock of hay and fodder quicker than the grass
will grow in spring.
With the cold
weather the thermometers are being looked after more than before
and a great variety of temperature was noticed on Tuesday. It
was from 22 to 40 degrees below zero according to the
location. It was cold and is yet at present writing with
prospects of another cold night.
Spring cutters and feed cutters at Degener’s. The
best on the market.
The dance at the M. W. A. hall Monday night drew quite a crowd. The music was furnished by the Edgar orchestra, about equal to the home orchestra.
