Carl Helm will work for Erwin Brooks this winter. 
 

Mr. Kampin the cheese man was in this vicinity recently. 
 

Word was received by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grassman that their son Arthur is very ill at the Albert Lea hospital with typhoid fever. 
 

Mrs. Ed. Steinbach gave a party for her sister Miss Mary Bachausen and niece Miss Emma Steinbach Thursday evening. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Iackish and Miss Elsie Neitzel visited at the Wm. Nitschke home Friday afternoon. 
 

Mrs. Sherman Gress and children of Neillsville spent the holidays with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Anding. 
 

Mrs. Herman Krause who has been as the asylum in Mendota for several years was brought home to stay for an indefinite time. 
 

Miss Lillian Yorkston is visiting with her mother at Neillsville this week. 
 

Willie Helm of Appleton is a guest at the home of his uncle Ferd Helm. 
 

Henry Sternitzky was at Neillsville between trains Monday on business. 
 

Henry Gaden after spending the holidays with his sister Mrs. C. Chubb Jr. returned to Camp early in the week. 
 

James Ure of Neillsville was visiting friends and relatives in this place. 
 

Miss Elsie Nygard returned to her home at Oshkosh after spending the holidays at Henry Sternitzky’s. 
 

Mrs. Ed. Steinbach and niece Emma Steinbach and Miss Eida Helm were Neillsville visitors Sat.

Miss Lydia Schier and Anna Teatz left Tuesday for Marshfield where they have a position at the asylum. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sternitzky returned from their visit at Sheboygan and other places in the eastern part of the state Monday.  While on their visit with their two little sons stayed with their grand parents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sternitzky.  On Wednesday with their children they returned to their home at Mosinee. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dopp were New Years guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Washburn.
