Paulson, Vila Charlotte (14 November 1909 - 17 January 1911)
The spirit of little Vila Charlotte, the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Paulson winged its way from its earthly home shortly after two o’clock Tuesday afternoon to join those of countless other little sprits in like manner freed from their earthly tenements and journeying to the Heavenly Father’s home. This flight was occasioned by the fatal termination of spinal meningitis from which the precious child had suffered much in the few days previous.
Vila Charlotte Paulson was born November 14, 1909 and though a stay of little more than a year she had completely captivated the hearts of the entire family. She is survived by her parents, two brothers Clifton and Raymond, and one sister Lilas. The funeral was held fro m the Union Church yesterday (Thursday) afternoon, Rev. Postlethwaite of Marshfield officiating. The interment was made in the Windfall Cemetery beside the body of her brother Delos, the second child of her parents who died in infancy several years since. Four little girls namely Shirley Knorr, Fern Williams, Jessie Morris and Helen Crego acted as bearers.
