Foemmel’s Corners (20 January 1911)
Mr. and Mrs. Will Glover came over from Marshfield Thursday and stayed until Saturday at the Truman Davis home.
Mr. H. Nonhof, Fred and Walter Foemmel spent Sunday evening at Truman Davis’.
Mrs. Heck left Saturday morning, for St. Paul.
Mr. and Mrs. Truman Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Will Glover and Geo. Glover, Mr. and Mrs. Al Nonhof and Mr. and Mrs. Rella Osgood were among those who attended the dance at Granton Thursday evening.
August Foemmel made his usual trip to Chili Sunday.
Mrs. Frank Rogers gave a birthday party last Friday for her sister, Grace Campbell.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Foemmel visited at the G. Krause home Sunday.
Truman Davis and family, Mr. Geo. Glover and Mr. and Mrs. Will Glover spent last Friday evening at John Pietenpol’s where they wee entertained by piano music rendered by Miss Ruth a solo by maste4r Bernard and a duet by both Ruth and Bernard.
Amelia Krause Sundayed at home
Mr. Alton of Neillsville is hauling logs from his farm here.
W. J. Davis and Alvin Nonhof attended the school board convention at Neillsville Tuesday. Mrs. Nonhof accompanied her husband.
The Messrs. Truman Davis and Geo Glover drove to Neillsville Wednesday.
Joe Lastofka and daughter Agnes were seen on our streets Tuesday.
