Schreiber, Allen J. (13 SEP 1960 - 25 SEP 2011)

Allen J. Schreiber, 51, of Abbotsford, died unexpectedly at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at Saint Bernard's Catholic Church in Abbotsford. Father Tim Oudenhoven will officiate. Burial will be in the Abbotsford Public Cemetery. 

A time of visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.; and again on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.

Pallbearers will be Will Ola, Jamie Schaefer, Joe Feldbruegge, Bob Augustin, Larry Schuh, Travis Schuh and Nathan Schreiber. Honorary pallbearer will be Steve Coy. 

Allen was born Sept 13, 1960, in Marshfield, son of Kenneth and Madeline (Barts) Schreiber. He attended Abbotsford Elementary School and was a 1978 graduate of Abbotsford High School. 

Allen was united in marriage on Oct. 25, 1980, to Debbra Singstock at Saint Thomas Catholic Church in Milan. 

Allen had worked at Berg Equipment in Marshfield since 1984, first as a welder, then shipping, customer service and working his way up to chief operating officer. 

Allen was always willing to help anybody in need. He loved to travel especially to the beaches of Mexico. Allen also enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing, bowling, camping, four wheeling, snowmobiling, playing cards, gardening spending time with his family and friends and his dogs, Maddie, Dexter and Bandit. 

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Debbra Schreiber of Abbotsford; children, Tara (Andre) Poland of Sun Prairie and Brandon Schreiber of Abbotsford; brothers, Rodney (Carol Knetter) Schreiber Sr. of Mosinee, Galen (Marlene) Schreiber of Athens and Frank (Lynn) Schreiber of Milan; sisters, Marilyn Klemetson (friend Greg) of Athens, Diane (Jamie) Schaefer of Wausau, Donna (Steve) Proft of Abbotsford and Lori (Corey) Aichele of Willard.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth on Jan. 5, 2003, and Madeline on July 31, 2011.
