W.F. Woodward made a business trip to Oshkosh and Fond du Lac late last week, returning home on Saturday.

 

Will Bart is taking in the sights at Eau Claire this week.

 

Marvin Jahr spent Sunday at his home in the town of Grant.

 

Miss Julia Kurth returned Tuesday from Milwaukee after spending a week with her friend Mrs. Paul Krause.

 

The concert given by the Ripon College Glee Club last Saturday eve was greeted by a packed house.  It is one of the best entertainments that has been in Neillsville for some time and everyone is watching for a future date.

 

Thomas Hill of Merrill spent Saturday and Sunday with old acquaintances.

 

The teachers have all returned from their respective home to commence their spring term of work.

 

Rudolph Rabenstein has returned from New Mexico.  He is looking well, but thinks that Clark County is the place to live.

 

The two red spots, one on the courthouse corner, the other on the corner of Hewett and 5th streets, will be puzzling and to everyone’s interest.

 

Mrs. Mat Kapellen entertained a few lady friends at an afternoon coffee last week Wednesday.

 

Geo. Lippert Jr. is papa to handsome twin boys since early last week.

 

Mrs. Sherlock (born Norma Brillion) of Lac du Flambeau, spent several days of last week here with friends.

 

Mrs. I.M. Stockwell and little sons Eugene and Donald of Wayne, Neb. arrived here late last week for a two month stay and visit among relatives.
