John Rude commenced school Monday.
T.F. Feldmaier sold his horse to a party at Nevins.

The Misses Elsie and Mable Brooks were callers at Marshfield last week.
Mrs. E.L. McNutt and children from Warrens are guests of her sister Mrs. R.T. Washburn this week.
Mose St. Germain returned home last Saturday from the north where he has been employed for some time.
T.F. Feldmaier transacted business at Neillsville this week.
Max Opelt is very busy repairing the park and making it more attractive, as he has added a number of new trees. He will give an opening ball May 12th at the park. Good music and everything for comfort. A good supper will be served at the bowery.
As no worked has been received from Willie Opelt since the earthquake at San Francisco and as he belongs to the U.S. navy stationed at that place, grave fears are entertained by relatives and friends that he may have met with the same sad fate that many others did. We hope to hear from him soon.
Mr. and Mrs. Hamm of Lindsey visited relatives here one days this week.
