Larson, Lloyd Severn (19 September 1913 - 26 December 1962)
Lloyd Severn Larson, 49, of Greenwood died December 26, 1962, in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient since Monday. He was taken to Marshfiedl from Victory Hospital in Stanley, where he was admitted a week before. His death is attributed to pneumonia and a cerebral hemorrhage.
Mr. Larson, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Larson, was born in Greenwood September 19, 1913. He received his education in the Christopherson School, northeast of here. He was employed as a carpenter and mechanic in this area. He never married.
Surviving are three brothers and three sisters: Lawrence, Norman, Lee and Mabel Larson of Greenwood, Mrs. Nora Zengle of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Betty Kolbo of Sparta; and three nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
