Krause, Clara (24 April 1885 - 28 December 1962)

 

Mrs. Clara Krause, 77, of Granton died December 28, 1962, in Neillsville.   Funeral services were held Monday from the Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant.  The Rev. Evan Dieck officiated.  Burial was made in Windfall Cemetery, Granton.

 

Mrs. Krause, the former Clara Schier, was born April 24, 1885, in Two Rivers.  She came to the Town of Lynn with her parents when she was a small child, and received her education in the Lynn School. 

 

She was married August 6, 1902, to August Krause, who died in 1947. They farmed in the Town of Lynn, and since the death of her husband Mrs. Krause had resided in Granton.

 

She is survived by three sons: Alvin of Granton, Erwin of Granton, and Harvey of Neillsville; a daughter, Mrs. Leslie (Adeline) Keuer of Granton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Schier of Port Edwards and Edward Schier of Marshfield; and two sisters, Mrs. Ydia Normington of Plant City, Fla., and Mrs. Mabel Kroll of Neillsville.

 

Funeral arrangements were made by the Gilbertson Funeral Home of Granton.
