Zaborowski, Roger T. (9 AUG 1938 - 26 SEP 2011)
Roger T. Zaborowski, 73, of Eau Claire, formerly of Owen,
passed away Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at his home.
His funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at
the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. A visitation will be
held from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Roger was born Aug. 9, 1938, in Chippewa Falls to John and Isabella
(Gebala) Zaborowski. He graduated from Gilman High
School.
Roger enlisted in the Army and proudly served his country
for three years. He married Janet Poppe of Withee at Aberdeen
Proving Grounds, Maryland on March 29, 1958. They divorced in
1993.
He worked as a welder at Praschek Machine Company in Marshfield,
then as maintenance at Northland Foods and later in life at F&C
Hardwoods in Withee and Mid-Am in Greenwood. Roger was a youth
house parent at Sunburst Youth Homes in Neillsville and a CNA at
Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.
He married Patricia Krueger-Bushman in Nevada on Nov. 9,
1999.
He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and cutting wood. He also enjoyed
watching the Packers.
Roger is survived by his wife, Pat Zaborowski of Eau Claire; his
children, Laurie (Micheal) Jasurda of Marshfield, Carol Ehrendreich
of Marshfield, and Michael (Sheila) Zaborowski of Urbana, Ill.; his
grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Jason and Austin Jasurda, Dawn
Zaborowski, William (Jessica) Ehrendreich and Lauren Ehrendreich,
and Amber (Jerome) Hodgins; his great-grandchildren, Natalie and
Gabriel Zaborowski and Breanna Schafer; and a great-grandson
expected in October.
He is further survived by his step-sons, Mark (Tricia) Bushman of
Neillsville, Craig Bushman of Greenwood, and Kurt Bushman of
Greenwood; his step-grandchildren, Joshua, Mariah, Zachary and
Andrew Bushman, and Aiden Stadtler. He is also survived by his
brother, William (Elaine) Zaborowski of New Berlin; mother-in-law,
Lois Krueger of Chippewa Falls; brothers-in-law, James Krueger of
Ohio and Robert (Jovita) Krueger of California; his former
sister-in-law, Beverly (Carl) Sillampa, and brothers-in-law, Robert
(Julia) Poppe, Boone Poppe and Jack (Patricia) Poppe; nieces and
nephews.
