Olsen, Sandra D. (Marriage - 29 December 1963)

The marriage of Robert Vernon Schumacher to Sandra D. Olsen, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. O. C. Olsen of Holmen, was solemnized at a candlelight service Saturday in Holmen Lutheran Church.  A reception was held in the church parlors following the ceremony.

The groom is a native of Granton.  He is a senior in the school of medicine at the University of Wisconsin.  During the summer of 1961, he served under an externship at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

The bride was graduated from Holmen High School and is a student in the University of Wisconsin.

Area friends attending the service included: Mrs. Adela Schumacher, Dr. and Mrs. Victor Tharp and children, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Spry, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Schumacher, Mrs. William Young, all of Granton; Dick Scott of Alma Center; Mrs. Josephine Thiede of Marshfield, and Mrs. Elliot Warlum of Neillsville.
