Frank, Sally Ann (Marriage - 29 December 1962)
In a double ring ceremony, Sally Ann Frank, daughter of Dr. Horace A. Frank of Neillsville was married to Thomas Francis Beck, son of Mrs. Alfred Beck, in St. Mary’s Church Saturday. The Rev. Fr. Bernard T. Kelly officiated.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She was attired in a ballet-length, white satin gown, bell-shaped skirt, with a jacket of Chantilly lace, and a white satin pillbox headdress trimmed with veil of similar material.
Jane O’Kane of Prairie du Chien was made of honor; Jerry Boser of Milwaukee was best man and ushers were Donald Beck, brother of the groom and James Reinhardt, a brother-in-law of the groom. The St. Mary’s children’s choir sang at the service.
The bridesmaid wore a short gold-silk organza gown, and a gold pillbox headdress with short matching veil.
Following the ceremony, a breakfast was served in Marshfield to relatives and immediate friends.
The groom was discharged from the air force in September following service in Seville, Spain, is attending Marquette University, Milwaukee. The bride attended St. Mary’s Academy in Prairie du Chien and has been attending the University of Wisconsin.
Following a brief honeymoon, the newly weds will be at home at 156 West Appleton Avenue, in Milwaukee.
Out of city friends attending were: Mrs. Alfred Beck, Jerry Boser, Marilyn Tisch, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Beck and Susan, Mr. and Mrs. James Reinhardt, Linda and Karen, all of Milwaukee; Jane O’Kane of Prairie du Chien; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Steinhilber of Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. James Schain, Michael and Susan, of Winona, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. John Schneider of Minneapolis; Mary Rose Proell, Ruth Wenzel, Dr. Henry S. Waters, Dr. and Mrs. Roy P. Porter, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Fowler of Marshfield.
