Meinhardt, Martha M. (26 AUG 1920 - 14 MAY 2000)
Martha Margaret Meinhardt, 79, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), died Sunday, May 14, 2000, at the Victory Medical Center in Stanley.
Funeral services for Martha were held on Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee, with Rev. Tom Myhre officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Withee. Visitation was at the Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, on Teusday, May 16, 2000, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers were: Vince Frane, Don Mengel, Art Petke Sr., Art Petke Jr., Jim Bosinske, Steve Zielinski and Ken Koltis.
The former Martha Lutz was born on Aug. 26, 1920, in Owen, the daughter of Herman and Anna (Bruchert) Lutz. Martha and Norman Meinhardt were united in marriage on May 18, 1946, in Greenwood. She was employed at the former Le Gault Clinic and the Woodland Hotel, both in Owen. Martha and her family were members of the Hub City Wheelers Camping Club in both Owen and Marshfield. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband Norman Meinhardt of Owen; daughter Caroline (Larry) Smith of Stanley; brother Herman (Elaine) Lutz of Thorp; sister Hazel Lutz of Owen; 2 grandchildren: Tracy (Jon) Mason, Kristine Mason; 1 great-granddaughter Grace Mason, all of Stanley; 2 nephews: Steve (Jill) Lutz of Denver, CO, David Lutz of Thorp and 3 nieces: Mary Lutz of Owen, Sue (Ken) Koltis of Withee, and Linda (Jim) Bosinske of Boyd. She was preceded in death by her father Herman Lutz in 1939 and mother Anna Lutz in 1961.
