Janesville Settlement (10 January 1963)
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Updyke were supper guests Sunday of the Edwin Degenhardts in Greenwood to celebrate Mr. Updyke’s birthday.
Mrs. Anna Nielsen spent from Thursday through Saturday at her son’s, the Henry Nielsens.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Barr and sons, Larry and Tom, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dillenbeck spent the weekend in Milwaukee and attended the Mink show.
Mr. and Mrs. Ted Clintsman of Waukesha spent last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Clintsman.
Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wessel visited at the Henry Nielsen home Thursday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Duane Branstiter and family of Marshfield were dinner and supper guests Saturday at the Edward Sloniker home.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Barr spent Thursday in the Twin Cities.
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Korntved and family and Soren Korntved were Thursday evening visitors at the Andrew Korntved home in Nekoosa.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kurth and family of Wausau spent New Year’s weekend with their parents, the Fred Clintsmans.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dillenbeck visited at Mt. Prospect, Ill, with her sister and family the Edward Grimms on Friday and Saturday morning.
Mrs. Floyd Updyke spent Thursday with her daughter, Mrs. Duane Branstiter, in Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Schwarze of Owen were Sunday night guests at the Henry Nielsen home.
Roger Dillenbeck returned to River Falls to school Sunday after spending the vacation with his parents, the Harold Dillenbecks.
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Korntved and family spent Tuesday evening at the Bob Fitzl home, helping Linda Fitzl celebrate her 10th birthday.
Mrs. Jake Barr and Mrs. Martin Merlak took Jack Barr, Roger Bolf and Jane Dyer back to school at Delavan Sunday. They were joined in Marshfield by David Bugar.
