Sladek, Frank (10 August 1909 - 13 January 1963)

 

Funeral services for Frank Sladek, 53, of Marshfield were conducted January 16, from the Bergemann Funeral Home in Neillsville. The Rev. Lloyd Mauer of the Methodist Church officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were: LeRoy Billings, Frank Holatik, Joseph Reznik, Charles Tichy, Louis Tichy and Stephen Tichy.

 

"The Old Rugged Cross" and "Abide with me" were sung by Mrs. Robert D. Peters, accompanied by Mrs. Jess Scott.

 

Out of town people here for the service were: Mrs. Frank Sladek, Mr. and Mrs. John Sladek, Mrs. Norbert Newmeier, and E. A. Gruenke, Marshfield; Mrs. Helen Sladek, Kenosha; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Holatik, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Reznik and daughter, of Brookfield, Ill.; Louis Tichy, Valparaiso, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Billings and family, Minneapolis, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tichy of La Crosse; Frank Sojka of Pittsville.

 

Those from Granton were: Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sladek and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walters and family, Harold Garbisch, Mr. and Mrs. Benny Garbisch, Lloyd Spry, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Garbisch, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schlinsog, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Elmhorst, Mrs. Donald Scharf, Mrs. Robert Canfield and Paul Schmidt.
