Odd Fellows and Rebekahs (Installation - 1963)
Joint installation of officers of the Odd Fellow and Rebekah lodges was conducted Saturday night. Installing officer for the Rebekahs was district Deputy President Mayme Hollingstad of Whitehall.
Officers installed were: Beulah Fisher, Nobel Grand; Amelia Hagie, Vice Noble Grand; Cecelia Poole, Secretary; Elsie Scherer, financial Secretary; Elizabeth Christie, treasurer; Mathilda Peterson, Chaplain; Elsie Bress (Gress?) warden; Alice Benedict, Conductor; Jessie Beeckler, Right supporter of Noble Grand; Marion Begley, left supporter; Margaret Milton and Gunda Gullickson, supporters for the vice grand; Mildred Rodman, inside guardian; Agnes Cummings, outside guardian; Ruth Keller, musician; and Clara Shaw, flag bearer.
Installing officer for the Odd Fellows was Ivan Pettis of Augusta and officers installed were Horace Rodman, noble grand; Martin Kirn, vice grand; Nordahl Fristad, secretary; N. F. Toptine, financial secretary; Rollie Benedict, treasurer; Henry Wallace, chaplain; Arthur Carl, warden; Robert Frantz, right supporter; Raymond Stuve, left supporter; Asa Darling, inside guardian; Oliver Williams and Rudolph Frantz, right and left supporters of vice grand.
Following the rites the evening was spent playing cards, followed by a lunch.
