Neillsville Locals (24 January 1963)
Lowell Don Schoengarth, a member of the Hoofers Ski Club at the University of Wisconsin, will spend Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in the upper peninsula of Michigan with other members of the club. This will be an in-between semester vacation for the group. Lowell is the son of Judge and Mrs. Lowell D. Schoengarth.
Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Williams of Humbird were Thursday evening supper guests at the John Flynn home. Mr. and Mrs. Elwyn Baker were supper guests there one evening last week.
Mrs. John Swenson returned home Thursday from Memorial Hospital where she had received treatment for four days.
Mr. and Mrs. Ole C. Aspen plan to leave next Sunday for an extended visit in California. They will visit Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gruenke, former motel owners here, now residing in Lakewood, Cal.; and at Santa Monica, Cal., they will be guests of his sister, Mrs. Alex Spindler. They will also visit Mrs. Aspen’s sister, Mrs. Fred Montman, in Saratoga, Cal., and before returning home in early spring will visit with Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Christofferson in Fresno, Cal.
