Keller, Edith (29 NOV 1874 - 9 JAN 1958)

 

Mrs. Henry Keller, 83, passed away at the Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley, Wis., of a heart condition on Thursday, Jan. 9, 1958.  She had been a resident of this community since 1904 and lived on her farm south of Thorp in the Town of Worde (Clark Co.), during that entire period.

 

Edith Seipold was born in Sherwood, Wis., on Nov. 29, 1874.  She was united in marriage to henry Keller on July 17, 1894.  They came to Thorp in 1904.

 

Surviving her are five sons, Henry of Greenwood, Mathew of Longwood, Anton of Abbotsford and William and Joseph of Thorp; two daughters, Anna, Mrs. Albert Ayen of Marshall, Wis., and Mary, Mrs. Bernard Zuraff of Thorp; two brothers, Oscar Seipold and Rennie Seipold of Antigo, Wis., two sisters, Agnes Seipold and Emma Seipold of Antigo, 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Herbert Hoffman at St. Bernard’s Church in the city at 9:30 a.m. on Monday with interment following in the parish cemetery.  Pallbearers were Bernard Zuraff Jr., Bernard Welciek, Albert Wink Jr., Lawrence Wink, William Pawlak and Frank Hodorowski.
